An exciting time lies ahead of you, in addition to tingling anticipation, a wealth of decisions awaits you. To make two of these many decisions a little easier for you, I would like to explain to you what a humanist wedding is and what your humanist wedding, with me as your celebrant, could look like.

A humanist wedding is a wonderful addition and alternative to a civil wedding and a fantastic alternative to a traditional church wedding.

Because, unlike these weddings, a humanist wedding lead by a celebrant gives you the unique opportunity to design your wedding ceremony solely according to your individual wishes and ideas.

With me as your celebrant

your special day would begin with a firework of emotions that reflects you and your relationship with all your similarities and uniqueness and lays the foundation for an unforgettable wedding day.

You won’t find standard speeches and predefined rituals, in short: mass production, at any of my events. Each of my ceremonies is a tailor-made expression of your uniqueness – full of emotion, passion and, when appropriate, a sprinkle of extravagance.

My slogan „Let my words be your wings“, emphasizes my passion for embolden ceremonies, but it also defines that you have the final say in everything.

Because only with your consent

and your trust in my abilities will your wedding ceremony become a particularly unique and emotional experience.

In brief: Together we will create your individual wedding ceremony free of rigid rules and strict conventions.

And incase you still have absolutely no idea what your wedding ceremony should be like or how you should start planning it, there is no need to worry because I’m here to guide you through the process.

As a trained celebrant (IHK) ZFR, I am very happy to assist you with my repertoire of experiences.

But! You always have the last word,

because this is exactly what makes your wedding ceremony a unique work of art, created together by us just for you. For example, your vows could be said on the beach, on a motocross track, in a castle, while bungee jumping, in a barn or at a festival.

Your symbolic act, also known as a wedding ritual, could include mixing a cocktail, packing a marriage suitcase, planting a tree, or creating a very special keepsake box.

Your pets could be your guests of honor.

You can already tell:

there are no limits to your imagination when it comes to designing your unique and bespoke wedding ceremony!

Together we will not only create a ceremony that reflects your relationship and your personality, we will create a moment that makes time stand still.

In the shape of a wedding that will make you and your guests smile, your tummies tingle and make goosebumps appear even when looking back after many decades together.

The heart of a humanist wedding is the wedding speech, a speech in which we focus on your love for each other, your very personal history with each other, as well as all of your similarities and uniqueness.

There are many ways

to make both a wedding speech and a ceremony bilingual. As an Englishwoman and bilingual celebrant who has lived in Germany for over twenty years, I would be happy to hold your wedding bilingually in English and German, but I would also be happy to hold it exclusively in German or exclusively in English. Partial translations are also possible.

I am looking forward to working with you to create a celebrant led ceremony that not only articulates your feelings but also provides wings for you and your love, allowing it to soar and create a nest for your shared growth.
