There are many ways to make both a speech and a ceremony bilingual. As an Englishwoman and bilingual celebrant who has lived in Germany for over twenty years, I am happy to hold your wedding vows renewal bilingually in English and German, but I am also more than happy to hold them exclusively in German or exclusively in English. Partial translations are also possible.
